This is the second in a series of an abstract in Black and White called Candle and Vase II. I did this in oil instead of acrylics. I guess I am use to acrylics cause I really didn’t like the feel of the oil. Maybe I am just use to using acrylics. But I don’t give up. So will try it again later on in the summer.

I love roses but they die too quickly. I found that if you keep changing the water with hot water from the faucet they will perk up and last longer. This was a fun challenge painting. Again with the lace.
